How it works

Shopify’s Agentic Plan put every store inside the chat window.

Shopify’s own Agentic Plan announcement describes stores being surfaced directly inside ChatGPT, Google AI Mode, Gemini, Perplexity, and Copilot with in-chat checkout. Every store now exposes a Storefront MCP server at /api/mcp and a catalog endpoint at /api/ucp/mcp. Agents query them, rank the answers, and recommend accordingly. Merchants who never configured those endpoints are competing with answers they’ve never read.

The process

01 — Audit

We run live queries against your MCP server, UCP catalog endpoint, and product pages, then score the responses across four categories. You see exactly what an AI shopping agent sees, with each failure tied to a fix. The score is our own heuristic — we say that on the report itself.

02 — Configure

We verify and configure the MCP endpoint, rewrite your product feed so titles and descriptions parse as ranked facts instead of adjectives, set up the Knowledge Base with your policies and the twenty questions shoppers actually ask, and walk the Agentic Plan activation with config scripts you keep.

03 — Monitor

On Growth and Elite, we re-score monthly, refresh descriptions, onboard new products, and track how competitors answer the same agent queries. When something regresses, you hear it from us before it costs you a recommendation.
